James Stephanie Sterling, better known by the professional name Jim Sterling, is one of the most impacting personalities in the world of game journalism, criticism and commentary. Jim’s YouTube show, “Jimquisition”, drew many people from the gaming world due not only to the pro-consumer stances and alarming and blunt reports of the game industry’s avaricious and inhumane practices but also due to fierce condemnation of practices such as “crunch”, silencing of reporters and video game betting systems targeting minors.
On Jim’s Twitter account and podcast with journalist Laura Kate Dale and writer Conrad Zimmerman it is possible to learn more about Jim’s experience as a non-binary, pansexual and non-monogamous person who navigates in a medium that is famous for directing more abuse and discrimination against minorities than any other.
